DIY Drain/Disposal Cleaner

I am horribly OCD when it comes to keeping my house clean and organized, so when I found a link on Pinterest for a home made drain cleaner, I immediately had to try it out! My garbage disposal gets a lot of action throughout the day and was in desperate need for a good cleaning!

This cleaner is very easy to make, it has just TWO ingredients! Lemons and Baking Soda!
I used 3 lemons (3 for $1 at Publix, woo hoo!) and 1/2 cup of baking soda to make the cleaner!  Here are step by step photos for creating this easy cleaner yourself and giving it a try too! It made my kitchen smell clean for 2 days!

After I juiced the 3 lemons, It measured out to be a little over 1/2 a cup of lemon juice!

Then I poured it in a Microwaveable safe bowl, and heated it in the microwave for 30 seconds.

With my extras left in my juicer, I poured it around the silver part of my drain and used it to scrub that part clean!

Now, slowly add the baking soda to the lemon juice.  Try not to put much in at a time because it will bubble like crazy!

Then pour in the disposal! I ran a little bit of water and turned the disposal on at the end for it to clear through the bottom to make it fresh!  Then I scrub the sides with my dish brush and rinsed it out.

My Sink/Disposal smelt so fresh and clean, I love it!

Easy Dessert: Chocolate Covered Fruit Kabobs

Hi Everyone!
Tonight, I made these DELICIOUS Chocolate Covered Fruit Kabobs! They are a healthier alternative for dessert with the family!
They even got my fiancĂ©'s stamp of approval, he said we need to make them more often! And frankly, I don't blame him!

First, I broke up 2 Hershey Chocolate Bars and put them in a small mug. I put this in the microwave to melt, mine took 60 Seconds and some stirring to melt.

While the Chocolate was melting, I chopped up 2 Bananas and about 8 to 10 big Strawberries (this made 6 Kabobs).

Next, stick all of that cut up fruit onto your kabob sticks, coordinating back and forth from strawberry to banana!

Then Drizzle your melted chocolate on top of your fruit, and place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes. (Maybe a little longer depending on how much chocolate you put on top!)

There you go! Simple and takes only a few minutes for a delicious dessert your family is sure to LOVE!

Yummy!
